Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results and discussion
Effect levels
- Sex:
- male/female
- Dose descriptor:
- LD50
- Effect level:
- 2 000 mg/kg bw
- Mortality:
- Male: 2000 mg/kg bw; Number of animals: 5; Number of deaths: 5
Female: 2000 mg/kg bw; Number of animals: 5; Number of deaths: 5 - Clinical signs:
- other: Signs of toxicity related to dose levels: No systemic signs of systemic toxicity ( on the basis of 4 days post-dose evaluation)
- Gross pathology:
- Effects on organs:
At macroscopic examination there was scabbing and/or
necrosis in 4 males and 5 females and bruising in one
female. These findings are considered to be indicative of an
irritant effect of the test substance. There were no other
compound-related findings. - Other findings:
- Signs of toxicity (local):
Erythema, oedema, scabbing, skin sensitive to touch,
thickening, bruising and possible (equivocal) necrosis. Due
to the severity of the irritation, all animals were humanely
killed on day 4.
