Because the test item is poorly water soluble the determination of the log Pow according to the OECD Guideline 107 (shake flask method) is not feasible. Because the test item had a retention time> DDT under the prescribed HPLC conditions (OECD Guideline 117), the HPLC method is also not feasible. Therefore, the log Pow can only be estimated from the single solubilities of the test item in water and in n-Octanol.
