Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Skin contact: Wash immediately with plenty of soap and water.
Eye contact: Bathe the eye with running water for 15 minutes.
Ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. If conscious, give half a litre of water to drink immediately.
Inhalation: Remove casualty from exposure ensuring one's own safety whilst doing so. If conscious,
ensure the casualty sits or lies down.
Fire-fighting measures
Extinguishing media: Water spray. Carbon dioxide. Alcohol or polymer foam. Dry chemical powder.
Exposure hazards: In combustion emits toxic fumes of carbon dioxide / carbon monoxide. / In combustion emits
toxic fumes of sulphur oxides. / In combustion emits toxic fumes of nitrogen oxides.
Advice for fire-fighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Wear protective clothing to prevent contact with skin
and eyes
Accidental release measures
Environmental precautions: Do not discharge into drains or rivers.
Clean-up procedures: Do not use equipment in clean-up procedure which may produce sparks. Transfer to a
closable, labelled salvage container for disposal by an appropriate method.
Handling and storage
Handling requirements: Ensure there is sufficient ventilation of the area. Avoid direct contact with the substance. Avoid
the formation or spread of dust in the air. Earth any equipment used in handling. Use nonsparking tools.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities
Storage conditions: Store in a cool, well ventilated area.
Specific end use(s): PC32: Polymer preparations and compounds.

Exposure hazards: In combustion emits toxic fumes of carbon dioxide / carbon monoxide. / In combustion emits
toxic fumes of sulphur oxides. / In combustion emits toxic fumes of nitrogen oxides.
Disposal considerations
Disposal operations: Transfer to a suitable container and arrange for collection by specialised disposal company.
Disposal of packaging: Dispose of in a regulated landfill site or other method for hazardous or toxic wastes.
NB: The user's attention is drawn to the possible existence of regional or national regulations
regarding disposal.
