Appropriate engineering controls: Ensure good ventilation of the work station. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Always wash your hands immediately after handling this product, and once again before leaving the workplace.
Hand protection: Manipulate with gloves. Gloves have to be controlled before the use. Use a technique of withdrawal of gloves suited to avoid that the skin contacts the product (i.e. without touching the outside surface of the glove). Throw gloves contaminated after the use according to the current laws and to
the good practices of laboratory. Wash and dry hands. The selected gloves have to satisfy the specifications of the EU Directive 89 / 686 / EEC
and in the standard IN 374 which derives from it.
Eye protection: Safety glasses with side-shields conforming to EN166. Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government
standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166(EU).
Skin and body protection: Combination of protection against chemicals. The type of equipment of protection must be selected according to the concentration and to the quantity of the dangerous substance at work.
Respiratory protection: For nuisance exposures use type P95 (US) or type P1 (EU EN 143) particle respirator. For higher level protection use type OV/AG/P99 (US) or type ABEK-P2 (EU EN 143) respirator cartridges. Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government standards
such as NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU).
Environmental exposure controls: Avoid release to the environment.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity : The product is non-reactive under normal conditions of use, storage and transport.
Chemical stability : Stable under normal conditions.
Possibility of hazardous reactions : No dangerous reactions known under normal conditions of use.
Conditions to avoid : None under recommended storage and handling conditions
Incompatible materials : Strong oxidizers.
Hazardous decomposition products : Under normal conditions of storage and use, hazardous decomposition products should not be produced.
Disposal considerations
Waste treatment methods : Dispose of contents/container in accordance with licensed collector’s sorting instructions.
Product/Packaging disposal recommendations : Dissolve or mix the material with a combustible solvent and burn in a chemical incinerator
equipped with an afterburner and scrubber. Offer surplus and non-recyclable solutions to a licensed disposal company. Contact a licensed professional waste disposal service to dispose of this material. Avoid release to the environment. Dispose of contaminated packaging as unused product.
