Description of key information
The test substance did not burn with a flame or smolder
along 200 mm of the test substance strip within four
minutes, and therefore was not considered highly flammable.

Expert statement A.12:
Dow is requesting a waiver from conducting
the EEC A.12 test, Flammability (Conduct with Water),
because the subject new chemical substance, TBPAAQ, is
essentially insoluble in water (as indicated in section 4.8 water
solubility), and has been shown or
estimated to be stable in water at or below the limit of
solubility. There is no degradation which would release flammable gases.
Expert statement A.13:
The subject new chemical substance, TBPAAQ, has been shown to be stable under ambient storage conditions with no instances of spontaneous ignition at room temperature. TBPAAQ was not ignitable under the A.10 test procedure. Based on this Dow is requesting a waiver from conducting a Pyrophoric Properties Study (EEC A.13) on TBPAAQ.
