Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash with water for at least fifteen minutes.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with water
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Give plenty of water. Do not induce vomiting (No antidote is
known, breathing and cardiovascular support may be
required).
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: The combustion products may be irritating to the respiratory
system and may result in breathing difficulties or pulmonary
pneumonia. Firemen should use a self-contained breathing
apparatus, gloves, face-masks and impermeable clothes and
boots. Fires may be extinguished using water mist, powder,
foam or carbon dioxide. Avoid high pressure water hoses
which may disperse the substance increasing the risk.
(Combustion products are likely to include, nitrogen and
sulphur oxides and soot).
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Absorb the product with a suitable absorbent (sawdust or
clay) and transfer to a controlled waste site or incinerate
at a supervised site. Do not wash down the accident site
with water as other water supplies may become contaminated.
Handling and storage
Handling: Do not inhale the dust and avoid contact with skin and eyes.
Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Do not contaminate
lakes, water courses or ditches with the product or empty
containers.
Storage: Keep away from food, drink and animal feedstuffs. Keep
container tightly closed. Keep below minus 10 deg C.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Preparations containing the substance that are not used will
be returned to the formulator (Stauffer Chemical Belgium SA)
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Absorb and incinerate in a suitable and controlled
installation
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Disposal at a controlled site for herbicides.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incinerate in an installation suitiable for liquids.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain except in
formulations.
