Description of key information

Key study. Test method according to OECD 203, GLP study. The 96h-LC50 of the test substance to Danio rerio was found to be 62.3 mg/L.

Key study. Test method according to OECD 202, GLP study. The 48h-EC50 of the test substance to Daphnia magna was found to be 83.3 mg/L.

Key study. Test method according to OECD 201, GLP study. The growth rate inhibition effect concentrations to Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata green algae were determined to be 72 h-ErC50 = 124 mg/L and 72 h-ErC10 = 22 mg/L.

Conclusion on classification according to CLP Regulation (EC) no. 1272/2008:

Based on available acute tocxicity tests performed on fish, daphnia magna and alga the test substance does not need to be classified for acute toxicity. Also, based on chronic toxicity data available for alga the test substance does not need to be classified either.
