Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The study was conducted under GLP according to Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.16. without deviations and therefore reliability of Klimisch 1 has been assigned. Based on the obtained results the self-ignition temperature was determined to be 369 °C.
Executive summary:

The test item Bis[4-(tert-butyl)benzoato-O]hydroxyaluminium indicated a self-ignition starting at a temperature of approx. 360 °C that led to a maximum temperature of 615 °C in a GLP test according to Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.16..

For information only:

Directive 67/548/EEC

According to Directive 67/548/EEC, the temperature of the oven at which the temperature of the test item reaches 400 °C by self-heating is regarded as the self-ignition temperature. Therefore, the test item has a self-ignition temperature of 369 °C.
