Additional information
One experimental study according to OECD 202 (GLP) is available investigating the short-term toxicity of ammonium undecafluorohexanoate (CAS 21615-47-4) to aquatic invertebrates. Based on the result from a preliminary range-finding test a limit test with a nominal concentration of 100 mg a.i./L was performed. The actual concentrations were analytically verified by HPLC/UV analysis and it was shown that the concentrations remained stable throughout the exposure (102 mg a.i./L at 0 h, 101 mg a.i./L at 48 h). No immobilization of Daphnia magna was recorded after 48 h. Thus, an EC50 (48 h) of > 100 mg a.i./L was derived.
