First-aid measures
General advice: Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Do not breathe dust. When using do not eat, drink or smoke.
Eye contact: In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Skin contact: Wash off immediately with soap and plenty of water while removing all contaminated clothes and shoes.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth immediately and drink plenty of water. Call a physician immediately. Do not induce vomiting without medical advice. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Inhalation: Move to fresh air. If symptoms persist, call a physician. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.
Notes to physician: Treat symptomatically.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable Extinguishing Media: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment. Water spray. Carbon dioxide (CO2). Dry chemical. Foam.
Extinguishing media which shall not be used for safety reasons: None.
Specific hazards arising from the chemical: Produce flammable and toxic gases on contact with water. Hazardous combustion products. Produce flammable gases on contact with water.
Protective equipment and precautions for firefighters: As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent) and full protective gear. Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Ensure adequate ventilation. Take precautionary measures against static discharges.
Environmental precautions: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Try to prevent the material from entering drains or water courses. Local authorities should be advised if significant spillages cannot be contained.
Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up: Prevent spreading over a wide area (e.g. by containment or oil barriers). Contain all contaminated water for removal and treatment
Methods for cleaning up: Sweep up and shovel into suitable containers for disposal. Keep in suitable and closed containers for disposal. Retain washings as contaminated waste.
Handling and storage
Handling: Do not get in eyes, on skin, or on clothing. Do not breathe dust. Ensure adequate ventilation. Wear personal protective clothing.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Polyethylene containers. Polypropylene.

Exposure controls / personal protection
1. Technical protection measures
Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location.
2. Organisational protection measures:
Use only in well-ventilated areas. Avoid creating dust. Provide appropriate exhaust ventilation at places where dust is formed.
3. Hand protection
Protective gloves. Nitrile rubber. Neoprene gloves.
5. Body protection
Long sleeved clothing. Apron.
6. Eye protection
Tightly fitting safety goggles. If splashes are likely to occur, wear face protection shield.
7. Respiratory protection
Respirator must be worn if exposed to dust.
General Hygiene Considerations: Wash hands and face before breaks and immediately after handling the product. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.
Environmental Exposure Controls: Avoid dust formation. Prevent product from entering drains.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: Not available
Stability: Stable under normal conditions.
Hazardous Reactions: None under normal processing.
Conditions to Avoid: Temperatures above 246°C.
Materials to avoid: Strong bases. Strong oxidizing agents.
Hazardous Decomposition Products: Amines, Hazardous combustion products, May burn violently. Decomposition may be self-accelerating and produce large amounts of gases, Produce flammable gases on contact with water.
Disposal considerations
Disposal Considerations: Should not be released into the environment. Dispose of in accordance with local regulations. Where possible recycling is preferred to disposal or incineration. Must be incinerated in a suitable incineration plant holding a permit delivered by the competent authorities.
Waste from residues/unused products: Dispose of in accordance with local regulations. Should not be released into the environment. Where possible recycling is preferred to disposal or incineration. Can be incinerated, when in compliance with local regulations
Contaminated packaging: Empty remaining contents. Triple rinse containers. Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste handling site for recycling or disposal
Other Information: Waste codes should be assigned by the user based on the application for which the product was used.
