First-aid measures
signs of discomfort when handling in enclosed areas, move to
area of fresh air.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with large volumes of water. Seek
immediate medical attention if signs of discomfort. Show
copy of safety data sheet or label to the medical staff.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with water and mild soap or detergent. If signs of
discomfort, seek medical attention. Remove contaminated
clothing and wash thoroughly before re-use.

Product arising from burning: Complete combustion will lead to the formation of oxides of
carbon and nitrogen. Reduced forms of these oxides (eg.
carbon monoxide) may result from combustion in enclosed
spaces. Other possible combustion products following
incomplete combustion in the presence of water may include
nitrous acids.

Protective equipment: Breathing apparatus, suitable gloves, goggles and face
protection must be worn. If water is used, strong inorganic
acids may form and suitable equipment should be used.

Chemical reaction with water: The substance will be denatured on contact with water.
Dust explosion: As with all organic powders, it is advised that precautions
are taken against the risk of dust explosivity through
careful handling techniques and elimination of sources of
ignition or static electrical discharge.

Although it is not consumed or chemically altered during
use, it is not possible to recover or recycle used
substance.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: A high level of the substance (as a preparation) will be
discharged into waste water treatment works.
There is no indication of direct hazard to the environment
from the limited data available and the anticipated
concentrations for use.

incinceration. This is the recommended method of disposal
for concentrated waste. Waste gas scrubbing to remove oxides
of nitrogen should be used.

discharged into waste water treatment plants. At the
expected concentrations, the substance should not adversely
effect the operation of the WWTP.
