First-aid measures

Inhalation: Make the person breath in fresh air. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media: Use dry chemical powder. Donot use water jet
Special hazards from the substance: Fine dust clouds may form explosive mixtures with air.
Advice for fire fighters: Promptly isolate the scene by removing all persons from the vicinity of the incident if there is a fire. No action shall be taken involving any personal risk or without suitable training. Move containers from fire area if this can be done without rissk. Use water spray to keep fire-exposed containers cool.
Fire-fighters should wear appropriate protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) with a full face-piece operated in positive pressure mode. Clothing for fire-fighters (including helmets, protective boots and gloves) conforming to European standard EN 469 will provide a basic level of protection for chemical incidents

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions: It is preferable for a dust mask to be worn.
Environmental precautions: Avoid emission of dust. Prevent entry to sewers / surface or ground water.
Clean-up methods: For large amounts, preferable use dry methods, while avoiding dust exposure. Do not empty materials into drains, sewers or water cources as the fines harden in contact with water.
