Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Conclusions:
- The GLP study was performed according to EU method A.3 without deviations and therefore reliability of Klimisch 1 has been assigned. The relative density has been determined to be 1.143.
- Executive summary:
The relative density of 1.143 of the test substance was determined in a GLP test according to EU method A.3 using the Pycnometer Method. The mass of the empty pycnometer was determined. The pycnometer was filled completely with water and weighed. A suitable quantity of test item was added to the pycnometer and was weighed, too. The pycnometer was filled with water completely. The weight of filled pycnometer was determined. The test item was insoluble in water. The density of water at the test temperature is 0.9982 kg/L. From this values the density of the test item was calculated. The relative density is the ratio of the mass of a certain volume of the test material at 20 °C and the mass of an equal volume of water at 4 °C. The measurement was repeated one time.
