Description of key information

Appearance / physical state / colour: The test item is a yellow to orange liquid to crystalline material.

Melting point / freezing point: The freezing temperature of the test substance was determined to be < -43°C at atmospheric pressure.

Boiling point: The boiling point of the test item was 355.2°C at atmospheric pressure (101.325 kPa).

Density: The density of the test item was determined to be 1.0806 g/cm³ (= 1080.6 kg/m³) at 20°C, corresponding to a relative density of 1.0806.

Granulometry: This endpoint is waived as the substance is not marketed or sold in a non-solid or granular form.

Vapour pressure: The vapour pressure of the test item was determined by isothermal thermogravimetry to be 0.917 Pa at 20 °C, 1.28 Pa at 25 °C and 5.95 Pa at 50 °C.

Partition coefficient: The logarithmic partition coefficient (n-octanol/water) of the test item was determined to be 1.9 using the HPLC method.

Water solubility: The test item was not stable under the test conditions specified in the guideline OECD 105, therefore determination of the water solubility of the test item is technically not feasible.

Surface tension: This endpoint is waived as the substance is not stable under the test conditions.

Flash point: The flash point of the test item was determined by continuously closed cup flash point tester to be 165.5 °C.

Auto flammability: The auto-ignition temperature for the test item was determined to be 340°C. The lowest auto-ignition temperature of the test item was determined to be 345°C.

Flammability: This endpoint is waived as the substance is a liquid.

Explosives: This endpoint is waived as there are no chemical groups present in the molecule that are associated with explosive properties.

Oxidising properties: This endpoint is waived as there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties.
