Description of key information

Toxicity to fish:

Key study: Test method according to OECD 203. GLP study.Based on the read-across approach, the 96-Hour LL50(Lethal Loading rate) of the target substance was > 100 mg/L loading rate WAF and the 96h-NOELR = 100 mg/L loading rate WAF.

Toxicity fo aquatic invertebrates:

Key study: Test method according to OECD 202. GLP study. Based on the read-across from an analogue substance, the 48 h-EC50 is greater than 100 mg/L loading rate WAF and the 48h-NOELR is 100 mg/L loading rate WAF.

Toxicity to aquatic algae and cyanobacteria

Key study: Test method according to OECD 201. GLP study. Based on the read-across approach the 72h-NOELR of the substance was determined to be 100 mg/L loading rate WAF.

Additional information

Data waiving for long term toxicity to fish and aquatic invertebrates: In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the study does not need to be conducted since the chemical safety assessment indicates that there is no need to investigate further the effects on aquatic organisms.
