Description of key information
The self-heating properties of the substance were tested in the Grewer oven according toVDI 2263 (1990), sheet 1. An exothermic process indicating self-heating was detected starting at 210 °C. On the basis of the study results the test item has to be classified as a self-heating substance in Class 4 Division 4.2 according to the UN Transport Regulation and EC 1272/2008 (CLP Regulation) only in case of package sizes exceeding 3 m3.
