Conclusion on classification

Short-term aquatic toxicity data are available for freshwater species of three trophic levels (fish, aquatic invertebrates and aquatic algae). The acute effect values for fish (D. rerio), daphnids and algae (D. subspicatus) are 5.3 mg/L, 16.2 mg/L and 1.52 mg/L, respectively. The substance does not need to be classified for acute aquatic hazard. Long-term aquatic toxicity data are available for the same three trophic levels with chronic effect values for fish (P. promelas), daphnids and algae (D. subspicatus) are 0.67 mg/L, 0.84 mg/L and 0.54 mg/L, respectively. As the substance is not readily biodegradable and the lowest chronic effect value is in the range of 0.1 - 1 mg/L, the substance is classified as chronic 2 (H411)
