Description of key information
The skin sensitisation potential of the test item was determined in a guinea pig maximisation test and a Buehler test. In the guinea pig maximisation test no skin responses were seen at the challenge concentration. In the Buehler test, at the first challenge, red spots were noted in 9 test animals. This minimal response is considered inconclusive evidence of sensitisation. A second challenge was therefore performed and no skin responses were seen.

Justification for classification or non-classification
In the guinea pig maximisation test and Buehler tests performed according to standard guidelines with the test item, no classifiable responses were observed. Additionally, the test item does not have a harmonised classification for skin sensitisation.
