Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Test results
Test B
The test was conducted in an open aluminium crucible. The sample was observed to undergo an endothermic event at 331.12 °C (260.02 J.g-1). On completion of the test the crucible was observed to be empty.
Test C
The test was conducted in an open aluminium crucible. The sample was observed to undergo an endothermic event at 333.53 °C (274.82 J.g-1). On completion of the test the crucible was observed to be empty.
The test results indicate that the material decomposes before it boils.
Boiling point = 332.3°C Decomposition
Test A was not reported due to irregularities noted in the run, it was considered prudent to run an additional test (test C) which displayed none of the irregularities observed in test A and was in agreement with test B.
The result has therefore been reported as the mean of the results of test B and test C.
Description of key information
Decomposition at > 332.3 °C (EU Method A.2 (Boiling Temperature))
Key value for chemical safety assessment
Additional information
The test results indicate that the material decomposes before it boils.
Boiling point = 332.3°C Decomposition
The test was conducted in an open aluminium crucible.
