The test substance was found to be not readily biodegradable in an OECD 301 B test indicating some persistence potential. However, considering the available weight of evidence on its major components, the substance can be expected to inherently biodegrade and notpose significant persistence concern.The substance is also not considered to be bioaccumulative based on its log Kow of 3 for the major components. This together with its absence of toxicity in short terms ecotoxicity tests and the absence of systemic hazard potential for the human health endpoints indicates that the substance does not fulfil the‘T’criteria. Therefore, the test substance is not classified as PBT or vPvB.
