First-aid measures
General information: Consult a physician. Show this safety data sheet to the doctor in attendance· After inhalation:In case of unconsciousness place patient stably in side position for transportation. If breathed in, move person into fresh air. If not breathing give artificial respiration Consult a physician.· After skin contact: Wash off with soap and plenty of water. Consult a physician.· After eye contact: Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes and consult a physician.· After swallowing:Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water. Consult a physician.· Information for doctor: Treat symptomatically and supportively.· The following symptoms may occur:Eye: May cause eye irritation.Skin: May cause skin irritation.Ingestion: May cause irritation of the digestive tract. The toxicological properties of this substance have not been fully investigated.Inhalation: May cause respiratory tract irritation. The toxicological properties of this substance have not been fully investigated
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing agents: Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.· Protective equipment: Wear self contained breathing apparatus for fire fighting if necessary.
Accidental release measures
Person-related safety precautions:Use personal protective equipment. Avoid breathing vapors, mist or gas. Ensure adequate ventilation.· Measures for environmental protection: Do not let product enter drains.· Measures for cleaning/collecting:Ensure adequate ventilation.Soak up with inert absorbent material and dispose of as hazardous waste. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
Handling and storage
Handling:· Information for safe handling:Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid inhalation of vapour or mist.Normal measures for preventive fire protection.· Storage:· Requirements to be met by storerooms and receptacles: Store in cool place.· Information about storage in one common storage facility:Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place.· Further information about storage conditions: Keep container tightly sealed.· Specific applicationsSubstance is used in spirit lacquers, polystyrenes, polycarbonates, polyamides, and acrylic resins.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Personal protective equipment:· General protective and hygienic measures:Keep away from foodstuffs, beverages and feed.Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothingWash hands before breaks and at the end of work. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin.· Respiratory protection:In case of brief exposure or low pollution use respiratory filter device. In case of intensive or longer exposureuse self-contained respiratory protective device.· Material of gloves (Contd. of page 3) The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of qualityand varies from manufacturer to manufacturer.· Penetration time of glove materialThe exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to beobserved.· Eye protection: Safety glasses with side shield.
Stability and reactivity
Thermal decomposition / conditions to be avoided: Incompatible materials, excess heat.· Materials to be avoided: Strong oxidizing agents· Dangerous decomposition products:Hazardous decomposition products formed under fire conditions. - Carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides (NOx)
Disposal considerations
Product:· RecommendationMust not be disposed together with household garbage. Do not allow product to reach sewage system.· Uncleaned packaging:· Recommendation: Disposal must be made according to official regulations.
