Additional information

The estimated values for the vapour pressure of the read across substance quinine calculated by using the Antoine method, Modified Grain method and Mackay method differ in a range of > 4.9E-010 Pa and < 2.8E-006 Pa. All used models are calculated for an ambient temperature of 25 °C. From the model predictions, the Modified Grain method is selected to provide an appropriate value for the vapour pressure. The estimated value by the Modified Grain method is 1.27E-008 Pa. Thus, we consider the predicted value of 1.27E-008 Pa to provide an approximation of the vapour pressure of the read across substance quinine. We conclude that totaquina, which consists of 75% quinine, has a similar vapour pressure.
