Test material

Constituent 1
Test material form:
semi-solid (amorphous): gel
Remarks:
migrated information: paste
Details on test material:
The tested material was formed into a 'rope' approximately 250mm long and 1 cm² square section on a non-combustible, non-porous board.

Results and discussion

Flammable solids
Test procedure:
burning time (test type not further specified)
Remarks:
or specified in description of method (migrated information)
Burning time:
>= 64 - <= 75 s
Remarks on result:
other: the substance ignited and burnt with an orange flame, producing black smoke. Black charred remains remained. The burning time ranged from 64 to 75 sec, therefore the substance was determined to be not highly flammable.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The test material has been determined to be not highly flammable as it failed to propagate combustion over the 100 mm of the main test in under 45 seconds in any of the six tests performed.
Executive summary:

The test material has been determined to be not highly flammable.
