Description of key information

The key study was performed 2007, similar to the OECD Guideline 102, and according to SOP EQH-1020-AA-0007 / AA 1020-0007 (DSC Method).
Melting point of the test item is 103°C.
Exothermic decomposition from 262°C (Method DSC, heating rate 3K/min).
The supporting study was performed 2002 according to Protocol JIS K4101-1993 5.1 (published in SIDS dossier).
The melting point of the test item is 106 °C.
Exothermic decomposition > 170°C according to OECD Guideline 103.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
103 °C

Additional information

The melting point study was performed similar to the OECD Guideline 102, and according to SOP EQH-1020-AA-0007 / AA 1020-0007

Melting point of the test item is 103°C. Exothermic decomposition from 262°C (Method DSC, heating rate 3K/min).

The melting point was performed according to Protocol JIS K4101-1993 5.1 and the boiling point according to OECD Guideline 103. Both studies were published in the SIDS Dossier in year 2003 by the lead organization Mitsuboshi Chemical Co., Ltd. (AAOT Consortium), Japan.

The melting point of the test item is 106 °C and exothermic decomposition > 170°C.

Both melting points are similar in the key study and in the supporting study.
