- Details on test solutions:
- PREPARATION AND APPLICATION OF TEST SOLUTION
- Method: The dilution water used was DSWL, prepared from ground water. DSWL has proven to be suitable for the culture of Brachydanio rerio. A quantity of 3000 mg of ε-Trifluoracetyl-L-Lysyl-L-proline (TFA-Lys-Pro) was accurately weighed out and dissolved in 3 litres of dilution water, resulting in a solution of 1000 mg/L.
- Controls: DSWL was used as a control medium.
- Evidence of undissolved material (e.g. precipitate, surface film, etc.): No - Test organisms (species):

TEST MEDIUM / WATER PARAMETERS
- Source/preparation of dilution water: The dilution water used was DSWL, prepared from ground water.
OTHER TEST CONDITIONS
- Adjustment of pH: No
- Photoperiod:16/8 with 30 min transition period
- Light intensity: not reported
EFFECT PARAMETERS MEASURED (with observation intervals if applicable) : The dead animals were counted and removed at least after 24 h, 48 h, 72 h and 96 h. At the same times the condition (swimming behaviour, colour, respiratory function or any other
visually observable morphological or behavioural criterion) of the survivors was compared with that of the control animals.
TEST CONCENTRATIONS
- Spacing factor for test concentrations: There is no spacing factor between the concentrations, according to a preliminary test the test item exhibits no toxic effects up to a concentration of 1000 mg/L, thus a limit test was performed
- Test concentrations: not reported

- Key result
- Duration:
- 96 h
- Dose descriptor:
- LC50
- Effect conc.:
- > 1 000 mg/L
- Nominal / measured:
- nominal
- Conc. based on:
- test mat.
- Basis for effect:
- mortality (fish)
- Details on results:
- - Behavioural abnormalities: not observed
- Mortality of control: no mortality was reported
- Reported statistics and error estimates:
- No mortality or any other toxic effect occurred, a LC 50 value nor a NOEC could be determined, thus performance of statistics is not applicable.
- Validity criteria fulfilled:
- not specified
- Conclusions:
- In a test conducted according to OECD guideline 203 (1984), 20 fish (Danio rerio) were treated with the test substance at a concentration of 1000 mg/L (limit test) for 96. Neither the control group animals nor the treated animals exhibit any premature death or any other toxic effects were observed, thus the LC50 and also the NOEC are considered to be above 1000 mg/L (nominal concentration).
