Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

log Koc values of 2.872 to 9.799 (estimate from log Kow, Mono-Adduct, Tri-Adduct) and 2.390 to 10.583 (estimate with MCI method Mono-Adduct and Tri-Adduct). However, as the substance is readily biodegradable, it is concluded that the substance and its relevant degradation products decompose rapidly. Therefore, adsorption/desorption is of no concern.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No studies are available for Fatty acids, C16 -18 and C18 -unsatd., Me esters, epoxidized, reaction products with ethylene glycol (CAS-No. 211450 -54 -3) on adsorption/desorption.

Using KOCWIN v2.00 with smiles notations, log Koc values of 2.872 to 9.799 (estimate from Kow method, Mono-and Tri-Adduct) and 2.390 to 10583 (estimate with MCI method, Mono-and Tri-Adduct) were calculated, indicating an adsorption potential of the test substance. However, asthe substance is readily biodegradable, it is concluded that the substance and its relevant degradation products decompose rapidly. Therefore, adsorption/desorption is of no concern.
