Description of key information

Key study: EU method A.1, OECD Guideline 102. GLP study. The melting point of the test substance was determined to be 59.9 ºC at 102.2 kPa.

Supporting study: The estimated melting point is 42.14 ºC (EPI-Suite, MPBPWIN v1.43)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Melting / freezing point at 101 325 Pa:
59.9 °C

Additional information

Key stutdy: A melting point test was performed in accordance with EU method A.1 and OECD Guideline 102. GLP study. The value of the initial melting point, both automatic and visual, could not been measured due to the hygroscopicity of the substance at room temperature. The melting point of the substance (based on the temperature of the final melting point) was determined to be 59.9 ºC at 102.2 kPa.

Supporting study: The estimated melting point is 42.14 ºC (EPI-Suite, MPBPWIN v1.43)
