Executive summary:

The purpose of the study was to determine the flash point of substance 3-METHYL-5-(2,2,3-TRIMETHYLCYCLOPENT-3-EN-1-YL)PENT-3-EN-2-ONE.


The determination of the flash point was performed in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 440/2008, method A.9 “Flash Point” (May 2008) and the Standard Test Method ASTM D 3828-97.
Three measurements were performed.


The flash point of 3-METHYL-5-(2,2,3-TRIMETHYLCYCLOPENT-3-EN-1-YL)PENT-3-EN-2-ONE was determined to be 123.0°C.
