Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
In case of inhalation: not applicable
In case of skin contact: Wash off with water.
In case of eye contact: Rinse thoroughly with plenty of water. If symptom persists, seek medical advise.
In case of ingestion: Seek medical advise immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
The product itself is non-combustible. After complete evaporation of the water content Dresinate 314 may burn like all organic substances. In this case suitable extinguishing media are water spray and foam.
Accidental release measures
Personal precautions: Wear suitable gloves and goggles.
Environmental precautions: Do not allow spilt product to enter soil or waterways. Cover drains. Do not discharge into the drains/surface waters/groundwater. In case of pollution of waters immediately inform the authorities.
Methods for cleaning up: Remove mechanically. Pick up rest with binding material (e.g. sawdust, sand, universal binder). Pick up soaked soil and treat as prescribed under heading "Disposal Considerations".
Handling and storage
Dresinate 314 is supplied in heatable rail tanks, in road tankers or in 200 l steel drums. In order to reduce the viscosity the product should be handled with a temperature of 60-80 °C. If not the complete content of a barrel is worked up, the product must be homogenized before usage. Storage tanks must be heatable and equipped to homogenize the product. It is recommended to cover it with a protective layer of nitrogen gas.
The storage in containers made of aluminium is to be avoided.
Advice on storage compatibility: Do not store or transport together with foodstuffs.
Storage classification: 13
