Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
The target substance is considered to have low toxicity to aquatic organisms.
Additional information
Short-term toxicity tests on fish, Daphnia, Lemna and microorganisms are available with the target substance.
48 h LC50 for FAT 40065/A is found to be 450 mg/l in trout fish.
The acute toxicity of FAT 92348/A to Daphnia magna was determined in a 48-hour static test according to the OECD Guideline and GLP. The nominal concentrations tested were 58, 100 and 180 mg test article/L, and a control without any additions. In the control and in the test concentrations up to 100 mg/l no immobilization of the daphnids was observed after 48 hours. The EC0 value is 100.0 mg/l. The EC50 and EC100 values are clearly higher than 179.4 mg/l. Therefore, the EC50 could not be calculated.
The influence of FAT 92348/B TE on the growth of the freshwater plant Lemna gibba was assessed in a static dose-response test. The 7-day EyC50 was calculated to be 9.97 and 31.0 mg test item/L for frond number and dry weight, respectively. The 7-day ErC50 was calculated to be >50 mg test item/L for frond number and dry weight. The 7-day NOEyC and the LOEyC were determined to be 0.15 and 0.48 mg test item/L for frond number and 0.48 and 1.5 mg test item/L for dry weight, respectively. The 7-day NOErC and the LOErC were determined to be 0.15 and 0.48 mg test item/L for frond number and dry weight, respectively.
The toxicity of FAT - 92'348/A to activated sludge was detemiined in a 3-hours respiration inhibition test according to the GECO Guideline No. 209, and to the EG Method Nr.L 133/118.
The test substance concentrations tested were 320,100, 32 and 10 mg/l. The reference substance 3,5-Dichlorophenol was tested in concentrations of 32,10 and 3.2 mg/l. Based on the findings of the study, IC50 (3 h) of the test substance FAT - 92'348/A was determined to be > 320.0 mg/l, while IC50 (3 h) of the reference substance 3,5-Dichlorophenol was determined to be 9.5 mg/l.
Based on the available data, the target substance is considered to have low toxicity to aquatic organisms.
