Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Toxicokinetic studies in rats show that the ester is hydrolysed and that metabolites are rapidly eliminated.
The substance was also found to be a potent inducer of peroxisome proliferation in rats.
Key value for chemical safety assessment
- Bioaccumulation potential:
- no bioaccumulation potential
Additional information
Very similar excretion patterns were found in male and female rats after single oral administration of 14C-test material at both dose levels. Based on urinary excretion, the test article was absorbed in low but significant amounts from the gastro-intestinal tract. The excretion of the test article was rapid as shown by urinary and fecal excretion rates and proceeded mainly via the feces. Additionally, the low or negligible residual radioactivity levels found at 168 hours after the administration in most organs/tissues, blood/plasma, intestinal tract and residual carcass reflected the highly efficient elimination of 14C-test material at both dose levels in both sexes.
