The DSC runs PN14350, PN14357 and PN14423 in a closed glass or gold-plated stainless steel crucible are shown in the table below.

In the measurements using a glass crucible no significant thermal effects could be observed due to the strong noise of the DSC signal. For this reason an additional measurement in a gold plated stainless steel crucible up to a temperature of 500 °C was performed. Starting at a temperature of 350 °C anexothermic effect with a decomposition energy of >-440 J/g was observed. Because of the test end at 500 °C the exothermic effect was not fully recorded and the associated energy release cannot be fully quantified. Because of the shape of the signal an energy release of >-500 J/g has to be assumed.

The results of the DSC-measurements are summarized in Table 1.

Due to the fact that the decomposition energy is above the threshold of -500 J/g the Koenen- and the Time-Pressure-Test had to be performed.

Three tests with a 1.0 mm diameter orifice plate were performed.
