Additional information

A long-term toxicity fish study with P. promelas derived a 31-33 day NOEC value of 8.3 mg/l (measured concentration) based on one or more parameters of hatchability, larval development, survival or growth (Call et al. 1985). A study from Call and Geiger (1992, as cited in US EPA database) reports a 33 d NOEC value of 36 mg/l based on mortalities of P. promelas.
