Description of key information

This study was performed in accordance with the OECD guideline for testing of chemicals, number 102, July 1995 and the EEC method A.1, Official Journal of the European Communities: 92/69/EEC, No- L 383, December 1992 using the capillary method with photocell detection. Anisic acid served as control.
The melting range of the test substance was investigated using a heating rate of 0.2 °C/minute starting at a temperature of 156.0 °C.
The melting range was determined to be 159.6 - 160.2 °C (= 432.8 - 433.4 K)
