dioxide and foam may be used.

contain oxides of carbon together with some soot.

should be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Observe the precautions at 2.3.1. Sweep up spill and
transfer to waste containers for disposal at an approved
landfill site or by incineration in accordance with local
or national regulations.
Handling and storage
Handling: Observe the usual precautions when handling organic
chemicals. Avoid ingestion, inhalation and contact with
skin (vinyl rubber gloves) and eyes. Use in a well
ventilated area; if exposure to dust cannot be avoided, a
respirator (eg BS6016) should be used.
Storage: Store in polyethylene lined containers.

suitable facility using temperatures above 950 deg C.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: It is unlikely that the substance will be appreciably
degraded in aerobic processes of short duration. It is also
unlikely that the substance will affect aerobic sewage
treatment, nitrification and sewage digestion process.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance itself will not enter the public domain
except in the form of dyed articles which may be disposed
of as domestic waste.
