First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes.

Consult an occulist.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Combustion products may contain carbon oxides together with

hydrogen chloride, fluoride and bromide gases and soot.

Suitable extinguishing agents are water, carbon dioxide,

foam and dry powder. A self-contained breathing apparatus

should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear protective clothing (see 2.3.1). Spilled product

should be pumped into a container or absorbed with a

binding agent, collected and placed in closed containers,

labelled and destroyed by incineration. The substance

should be prevented from entering water courses.

Handling and storage

Handling: The substance is handled in closed systems. During filling

operations, suitable respiratory equipment (filter type A),

rubber gloves and protective clothing must be worn. All

filling places must have local exhaust ventilation.

Storage: Store at room temperature and in closed containers.
