The boiling points of FAT 40812 were calculated to be about 751 °C for the first main component and about 755 °C for the second main component using Meissner's method. The vapour pressure of FAT 40812, acidic form of the molecule, was estimated to be 9.8E-25 Pa at 25 °C for the sulphuric acid ester component and 1.7E-24 Pa for the vinyl sulfon component.

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of the two main components of the test substance were estimated to be 9.8E-25 Pa and 1.7E-24 Pa at 25 °C.
Executive summary:

In a study performed according to EC Method A.4, the vapour pressure of the test substance was determined by calculation. The test substance consists of two main components and for both the vapour pressure was calculated using the Modified Watson Correlation. This vapour pressure calculation was based on the calculated boiling point using the Meissner's method to be 9.8E-25 Pa and 1.7E-24 Pa at 25 °C for sulfuric acid and vinyl sulfon component, respectively.
