Description of key information

No hydrolysis is expected base on the structure of the substance.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

A hydrolysis study has been waived based on the structure, which does not contain any hydrolysable bonds. This is also supported by the biodegradation study, where no biodegradation is seen. Also in accordance with column 2 (9.2) of REACH (Regulation 1907/2006/EC) Annex VIII, a test for hydrolysis as a function of pH does not need to be conducted as the chemical safety assessment according to Annex I of Regulation 1907/2006/EC does not indicate the need to investigate further the degradation of the substance.
