Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No toxic effects against algae were observed at a limit test concentration of 100 mg/L.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The pH value in the test item slightly increased by more than 1.5 pH units. This increase is not regarded to be relevant to the results as all validity criteria were met.

Measured concentrations were in range of 91.5 - 94.0% of norminal concentrations at 0 h and 74.2 % (with algae) to 90. 2% (without algae) at 72 h. Results of analyses of test substance concentration (0 and 100 mg/l) in test solutions at 0 and 72 h showed that the substance stayed stable through the test duration. The difference between the measured concentrations at 0 and 72 h with test substance and algae is most probably due to the incorporation of test substance into the algal biomass.
