First-aid measures
. General information:
Personal protection for the First Aider.
· After inhalation: Supply fresh air. Consult doctor in case of symptoms.
· After skin contact:
Immediately remove any clothing soiled by the product.
Wash immediately with plenty of water and soap and rinse thoroughly.
· After eye contact:
Rinse opended eye cautiously with water for several minutes.
· After swallowing: Rinse mouth. Do not induce vomiting.
If swallowed, gastric irrigation with activated carbon.
Call a Poison center or doctor/physician if you feel unwell.
· Most important symptoms and effects:
Allergic skin reactions.
Fire-fighting measures
· Suitable extinguishing agents: fire-extinguishing powder, CO2, foam, water spray jet
· Unsuitable extinguishing agents for reasons of safety: none
· Special hazards caused by the material, its products of combustion or flue gases:
In case of fire, toxic incineration products can be released:
Nitrogen oxides (NOx)
Carbon monooxid (CO)
· Protective equipment: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.
· Additional information: Dispose of fire debris and contaminated fire fighting water in accordance with official regulations.
Collect contaminated fire fighting water separately. It must not enter drains.
Accidental release measures
· Personal safety precautions:
Keep unprotected persons away.
Wear respiratory protective equipment.
When selecting the protective suit attention has to be paid to the complete and safe protection of skin and muscous membranes.
Wear impermeable protective clothes, protective boots made of neoprene, complete face protection and nitrile-rubber gloves with long tops.
· Measures for environmental protection:
As the product is hazardous for the aquatic environment, it must be prevented from reaching suface water.
Prevent from spreading (e. g. by enclosing with a ring of chemical absorbent).
Do not allow substance to reach sewage system or water courses.
Inform authorities in case of contamination of water or sewage system.
· Measures for cleaning/collecting:
Collect large amounts in suitable container. Cover the rest with adsorbent, mix intensively and collect mechanically.
Suitable binder: multi-purpose absorbent.
Dispose of contaminated material as waste according to local regulations pertaining to the disposal of hazardous waste.
Handling and storage
Ensure "strictly controlled conditions" to avoid exposure.
· Handling:
· Precautions for safe handling:
It is preferable to handle the product in a closed system.
Load carefully, avoid splashes.
· Information about protection against explosion and fire:
No special measures required.
· Storage:
· Requirements to be met by storerooms and containers:
Provide floor trough without outlet.
Do not store above 50 °C.
· Information about storage in a common storage facility:
Store away from foodstuffs.
· Further information about storage conditions:
Keep containers tightly sealed.

Exposure controls / personal protection
· Additional information about design of technical systems: ensure "strictly controlled conditions" to avoid any exposure
· Components with critical values that require monitoring at the workplace:
For the substance is no critical value established to be monitored at the workplace.
· Additional information: Information valid at the time of review of safety data sheet.
· Personal protective equipment
· General protective and hygienic measures:
Use skin cream for skin protection.
Avoid contact with the eyes and the skin.
Wash hands during work breaks and at the end of the shift.
Provide skin protection plan.
· Respiratory protection:
Not required.
· Protection of hands:
Chemical protective gloves according to DIN EN 374 with CE-labelling.
Check the condition of protective gloves after each use for any damages like holes, cuts or tears.
After use of gloves apply skin-cleaning agents and skin cosmetics.
· Material of gloves: Nitrile rubber, NBR
Penetration time depends on different criteria and may be determined by the manufacturer according to the standard DIN EN 374-3.
· Gloves made of the following materials are not suitable: Leather gloves
· Eye protection:
Tightly fitting safety goggles with side protection ( DIN EN 166).
· Body protection:
Protective clothing.
. Risk management measures:
The operators shall be instructed adequately.
The workplace shall be inspected regularly by competent personnel e.g. the safety representatives.
Stability and reactivity
· Conditions to be avoided:
No decomposition if used according to specifications.
· Minimum shelf life:
24 months from production date, if stored dry and at a temperature of about 20 °C.
· Possibility of hazardous reactions: not known
· Incompatible materials: non known
· Hazardous decomposition products:
Under normal conditions of storage and use, hazardous decomposition products should not be produced.
Disposal considerations
Product must be disposed according to local regulations pertaining to the disposal of hazardous waste.
Remove all product from packaging and clean thoroughly before recycling.
