Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

boiling/decomposition temperature: 204.9°C

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
204.9 °C

Additional information

In the Klimisch 1 GLP study from Younis (2014) the boiling temperature of the registered substance was determined with the Siwoloboff method according to EU method A.2. At 99.9 kPa and 204.3°C (mean of two runs) the test item boiled and discoloured to brown. Hence, decomposition was suspected. This boiling/decomposition temperature of 204.3°C which was corrected to 204.9°C at normal atmospheric pressure. For the risk assessment the boiling/decomposition temperature of 204.9°C will be used.

This information is considered to be relevant and reliable for the further risk assessment.
