Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Immediately move to a place with fresh air. Symptomatic
treatment. Give artificial respiration if necessary. Seek
medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately rinse out eyes thoroughly with running water.
Seek medical advice if irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Skin: Immediately rinse the affected area thoroughly with soap and
running water. Seek medical advice if irritation persists.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse out mouth and drink plenty of water. Do not induce
vomiting. Symptomatic treatment. Call for medical help
immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: The material is incombustible. In the event of a fire in the
vicinity, use the the extinguisher suitable for the
condition of the surrounding fire.
Product arising from burning: Not applicable as the material is incombustible.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Full protective clothing and self-contained breathing
apparatus must be worn.
Fight the fire from a safe distance or protected location.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Evacuate personnel from immediate vicinity.
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment to prevent
flying items from coming in contact with your skin. This
protective equipment must conform to the relevant national
or international standards, as mentioned in section 2.3.10.
Wash the spillage area with water and an appropriate
detergent. Carefully transfer the spillage to waste
containers, or use a sealed industrial vacuum machine.
Containers filled with waste material must be labelled in
the same way as the original substance containers.
Dispose of waste material in accordance with local
regulations.
Handling and storage
Handling: The substance will be handled and used under conditions of
good industrial hygiene and in conformity with any local
regulations in order to avoid exposure.
Engineering controls are necessary in order to reduce
exposure to the substance.
When exposure cannot be prevented or adequately controlled,
appropriate personal protective equipment should be worn.
Such protective equipment should conform to the appropriate
international or national standards as follows;
Chemical protective gloves to Standard EN374
Chemical protective clothing to Standard EN368
Eye protection to Standard EN166.
Furthermore, when respiratory and breathing protective
equipment has to be used, it must be capable of adequately
controlling exposure, be suitable for the purpose, and
conform to the appropriate international or national
standards, such as a dust mask conforming to EN149 FFP1.
These measures should be regarded as a minimum.
Storage: Store in tightly close containers. Keep them in a cool, dark
place and always closed when not in use.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance will imported into the EU as a masterbatch, in
20 kg-sized polyethylene bags.

Special provisions / remarks
- Remarks:
- Transport code: None available.
Transport: The transport of the substance will be in conformity with
any local and national regulations.
Avoid crushing the containers. In the event of a spillage,
observe the warning labels on the container.

Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: None known.
Chemical reaction with water: None, as the material is insoluble in water.
Dust explosion: Under normal conditions of use this material does not
present a significant explosion hazard. However, it may form
a dust explosion if widely dispersed in air.
Dust explosion determined by test: N
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery from minor spillages or accidental discharge is not
economically feasible, and such waste material will be
disposed of by incineration and landfill.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Contaminated containers or spillages of material may be
disposed of by sanitary landfills at an authorised tip in
accordance with local regulations.
Alternatively, the material may be outsourced to sanitary
landfills agencies with permission by their local and
prefecture governor.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Not applicable as the material is incombustible.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The substance should not normally be discharged directly
to the sewage system or the aqueous environment. However,
adverse effects on sewage treatment systems would be
unlikely, as the substance is insoluble in water and
therefore, there is no evident effect on the environment.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: None.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not applicable.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - others: None.
