First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Eyes: No significant health hazards.Conventional first aid

measures.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Drink a glass of water and call a doctor.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: The substance does not support combustion. However,if the

substance or its preparation are incinerated when mixed

with other flammable materials, combustion products will

include hydrogen fluoride.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Spilled solid product : Collect using normal precautions

for handling organic chemicals. The collected material

should be burned in an incinerator designed to safely

handle halogenated materials. Solvent solutions : Clean up

using normal precautions for handling solvent

spills.Incinerate as above.

Handling and storage

Handling: No special handling procedures required.

Stability and reactivity

Danger other than fire: The substance is stable and does not react with water.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: No possibility of recovery in case of industrial use.The

substance is almost completely exhausted during the

reaction in the industrial application.

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: No possibility of neutralisation during industrial use.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: The solid can be discharged on waste dumps certified for

industrial chemical wastes.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The substance in solution in solvent as well as the pure

solid can be incinerated in installations equipped to

eliminate halogenated wastes.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The low solubility of the substance indicates that the

substance will be eliminated by absorption or precipitation

with the dissolved solids or with the waste water sludge.

The BOD results indicate that the remaining traces of the

substance in a wastewater treatment system will be

partially degraded during the treatment.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable the substance will not enter the public

domain.
