Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Rest, fresh air
Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash affected eyes under running water for 15 minutes with
eyelids held open.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected skin with soap and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Rinse mouth, induce vomiting, seek medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: water fog, foam, powder, carbon dioxide
Product arising from burning: CO2, H2O, HCl, CO, (NO)x, H2SO4
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Protective suit of fire-resistant material, eye protection,
independent respiratory protection
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Use wet inert material for covering the spilt substance and
take it up by using a permitted industrial vaccuum cleaner.
Use a fine dust mask and suitable gloves. Collect product in
well-labelled containers and dispose it off properly.
Handling and storage
Handling: During filling and refilling use of a fine dust mask and
rubber gloves are recommended. If possible, use dust-proof
filling systems. Provide good ventilation.
In case of dust formation use breathing apparatus.
Storage: Storage in dry rooms and in tightly closed containers.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: If the substance is contaminated no rational recycling is
possible.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Possibilities for neutralization do not exist.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Discharge in a landfill is not to be recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: As on incineration air pollutants may be formed a suitable
plant with flue gas purification should be used for
incineration.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: The notified substance can if necessary be eliminated from
waste water by using suitable absorption agents.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: If the substance is contaminated no rational recycling is
possible.
