Administrative data
First-aid measures
INHALATION:
Remove to fresh air. If breathing becomes difficult seek medical advice immediately.
EYE CONTACT:
In case of contact with the eyes, flush with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Ensure adequate flushing by separating the eyelids with the fingers. If irritation persists seek medical advice
SKIN CONTACT:
Wash with copious amounts of water for at least 15 minutes. Remove all contaminated clothing. If irritation persists seek medical advice
INGESTION:
Wash out mouth with water, provided the person is conscious. Do not induce vomitting unless directed by medical personnel. Seek medical advice immediately
Fire-fighting measures
SUITABLE EXTINGUISHING MEDIA:
Dry chemical powder, foam or carbon dioxide.
UNSUITABLE EXTINGUISING MEDIA:
None
SPECIFIC HAZARDS ARISING FROM THE CHEMICAL:
May emit toxic fumes of oxides of carbon and nitrogen and hydrogen fluoride under fire conditions
ADVICE FOR FIREFIGHTERS:
Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full firefighting turnout gear. Use personal protection equipment.
OTHER INFORMATION:
Avoid release into the environment. Dispose of waste in accordance with local regulations
Accidental release measures
PERSONNEL PRECAUTIONS:
Use protective gloves, goggles and suitable protective clothing
ENVIRONMENTAL:
Place waste in an appropriately labelled, sealed container for disposal. Care should be taken to avoid environmental release.
Handling and storage
HANDLING:
The product should be handled only by trained personnel. Do not breathe dust. Do not get in eyes, on skin or on clothing. Protective clothing should always be worn including gloves and eye protection.
STORAGE:
Store at room temperature in properly labelled containers. Keep away from heat, sparks and flames.

Exposure controls / personal protection
ENGINEERING CONTROL MEASURES:
Mechanical exhaust, safety shower and eye bath required.
RESPIRATORY PROTECTION:
CE/NIOSH/NSHA approved respirator EN 140, filter EN 143
HAND PROTECTION:
Impervious gloves EN 374
EYE PROTECTION:
Approved safety goggles EN 166-170
BODY PROTECTION:
Protective clothing Type 5 ENISO 13982, Type 6 ENISO 13034, EN 1149-1 Anti-static
Stability and reactivity
STABILITY:
Stable under normal conditions.
REACTIVITY:
No data available.
CONDITIONS TO AVOID:
Fine particles (such as dust and mists) may fuel fires/explosions. As a precautionary measure, keep away from electrostatic discharge.
INCOMPATIBLE MATERIALS:
As a precautionary measure, keep away from strong oxidisers.
HAZARDOUS DECOMPOSITION PRODUCTS:
When heated to decomposition it may emit toxic fumes of carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides and hydrogen fluoride
Disposal considerations
GENERAL:
Waste, residue, empty containers, discarded work clothes and used disposable towels must be collected in designated receptacles, labelled with contents.
DISPOSAL METHODS:
Dispose of waste in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
