First-aid measures

Description of first-aid measures:
In case of inhalation: If breathed, take person to fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration. Consult a doctor;
In case of skin contact: Wash with soap and plenty of water. Consult a doctor;
In case of contact with the eyes: Wash the eyes with water carefully;
If swallowed: Do not induce vomiting. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water. Consult a doctor.

Fire-fighting measures

Fire-fighting measures:
Extinguishing media: Use water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical powder or carbon dioxide;
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Oxides of nitrogen
Advice for firefighters: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus for firefighting, if necessary
Additional information: The water jets can be used to cool closed drums.

Accidental release measures

Accidental release measures:
Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Avoid breathing vapor / mist / gas. Ensure adequate ventilation. Cut off all sources of ignition. Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Attention to the accumulation of vapours that can form explosive concentrations. Vapours can accumulate in low areas (flash point -16ºC)
Environmental precautions: prevent dispersion or spillage. Do not allow the product to enter the drainage network.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: control the spill with chemical absorbent and recover the waste into a container and send it to a licensed waste operator.

This substance is handled under Strictly Controlled Conditions in accordance with REACH regulation Article 18. Exposure controls / personal protection

Hygiene measures: Wash hands, forearms and face thoroughly after handling chemical products, before eating, smoking and using the lavatory and at the end of the working period. Appropriate techniques should be used to remove potentially contaminated clothing. Contaminated work clothing should not be allowed out of the workplace. Wash contaminated clothing before reusing. Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location.
