Annex XI, Section 2, of Regulation EC No. 1907/2006, states that testing for a specific endpoint may be omitted if it is technically not possible to conduct the study as a consequence of the properties of the substance. According to Regulation EC No. 440/2008, A.10, the test procedure is applicable to powdery, granular or paste-like solids. As this substance is a soft waxy solid with a melting point of approximately 60 oC, its flammability will be assessed by a flash point method. The criterion is met and an adaptation to the data requirements applies.
