The melting behaviour of the test item cycl. Glucamide 810 was determined by the pour point method in a study according to guideline OECD 102.

The test item has a melting range of 27 – 33 °C.

The sample does not show any endothermic melting peak in differential scanning calorimety within the measured temperature range (-60 to 420 °C), indicating that the sample solidifies into a glassy state. Therefore the pour point method was used instead to determine the melting point.
