Description of key information
The bioconcentration factor (BCF) in common carp was determined to be between 26 and 54 for 100 µg/L concentration level and between 31 and 58 for 10 µg/L concentration level.

Additional information
A bioconcentration study with the test item was performed by the Ministry of Environment, Japan. First an acute toxicity test to the test organisms was performed. Medaka fish (Oryzias latipes var.) were exposed to the test item for 48 hours in a semi-static setup with medium renewal every 8 to 16 hours. Then a bioconcentration test was performed with common carp (Cyprinus carpio). Fish were exposed to concentrations from 10 to 100 µg/L for 6 weeks in a flow-through system. The concentration of the test item was determined with gas chromatography. In the acute test an LC50 after 48 hours was determined to be 28 mg/L. The bioconcentration factor (BCF) in the second test was determined to be between 26 and 54 for the highest test concentration and between 31 and 58 mg/L for the lowest test concentration.
