Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Eyes: No special recommendations, since no specific risks for
persons exist.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Use normal extinguishing media; water, carbon dioxide foam
and dry powder. Possible decomposition products: carbon
dioxide, carbon monoxide and water.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Small quantities take up with absorbing material. Disposal
by incineration or storage at specially permitted
depository.
Handling and storage
Handling: Usual precautions for handling chemicals. All local and
national regulations must be observed.
Storage: No special precautions. Store in closed containers in dry
storage-rooms at room temperature.

Danger other than fire: None reported.
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: In normal applications the additive is an intermediate
layer of a multilayered photomaterial. Recovery of the
minimal amount involved is not reasonably practicable.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Discharge in a controlled deposit is possible.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: In a suitable plant, incineration is possible
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable as none of the substance will enter the
public domain.
